My Review

Because A Tear of Vermillion was my favourite game, I was expecting a lot from this soundtrack, and I am happy to say it did not disappoint. One thing many ATOV fans should know is that, despite not taking itself too seriously, it is a very deep game and this is reflected greatly in the soundtrack. While there are some very light and cheerful numbers, some of this soundtrack's best songs are variations of the same intense numbers- such as Bonds and Run, Avin. There are also many unique songs that add flavour to the album, like The Heart of Lutis.

As a whole, the songs in the soundtrack blend well together. It is easy to start listening and remember your experiences throughout the game, almost following them through the songs themselves. No songs feel random or out of place. There is always a build-up and cool down from the most dramatic songs. Of course, if you're like me and just repeat all of the best songs over and over, that's perfectly understandable too.

If you're looking for an album from the trilogy that has depth and dimension, this is the one for you. While some songs can be a little boring, the exciting ones are the most exciting out of all of the soundtracks. It is definitely not to be missed!

My Picks: Bonds - A Burning Passion in My Heart, Run Avin!, The Heart of Lutis (sample these songs in the Jukebox)
