My Review

When I went through my first buying frenzy, I somehow missed this soundtrack, but later read a review for it and had to buy it. As the name suggests, Symphony Gagharv Trilogy is a soundtrack composed of symphonic renditions of some of the best tracks from other games. It is a mixed bag of songs that have one thing in common: the amazingness of their symphonic rendition. I'll admit, I didn't spot a lot of my favourites when I first picked up the album- I really just wanted it for Bonds. But upon listening to it, I knew it was a good thing that I bought it. These renditions made me appreciate each song so much more. Rather than being lost in a huge soundtrack, they are polished and exquisite.

There was absolutely nothing about this album that disappointed me in the end. It does a great job of unifying the Gagharv trilogy in a way that anyone can appreciate. Even someone who knew nothing about the series would have no problem diving into the music with this as a starting point. The contrast and rendering are unmatched.

This album was released a while ago and is in danger of going out of print, so I would strongly recommend picking it up as soon as you can! You will absolutely not be disappointed- this soundtrack is a masterpiece waiting to be listened to.

My Picks: Leone Frederik Richter: Theme (sample this song in the Jukebox)
